Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our Development Department at LHR Americas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing activities related to sourcing, screening, analyzing, planning, and developing business ventures or portfolios of ventures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the business development process through deal closure, including validation against proposal progress through stage gates.
- Prioritize business proposals against investment criteria and pre-determined scope and objectives of deals.
- Offer commercial and technical solutions to make up the company's business offering.
- Work with investors to establish high-level strategic, financial, and operational goals and milestones for new ventures.
- Review investor proposals and approve contract payments and variations within authority limits.
- Act as a primary contact for contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure deal alignment and progression.
- Lead business portfolios and manage development of commercial agreements.
- Provide analysis in reviewing legal documents, including head of terms, MoUs, cost sharing, and shareholders agreements.
- Manage negotiation strategy development and execution.
- Prepare reviews and present corporate committees and executive briefs.
- Provide administrative direction to Business Development staff, including job performance appraisals and job promotion recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience in business development, finance, or a related field.
- CFA, CMA, PMP, or similar certifications.
- Industry expertise and knowledge of specific business transaction and venturing activities.
- Expertise in financial analysis of companies and transaction valuation.
- Monthly Base Salary aligned with company employees with similar skills.
- Monthly Overbase of 25% of monthly base salary.
- Benefits Supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 6 years and 30% after 12 years.
- Severance Package with a 2-year vest period.
- Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay.
- Incentive Plan based on performance, approximately 1.8x monthly base salary.
- Travel Allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
- Vacation and Paid Holidays, including 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
- Medical and Dental Plan, including complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care and facilities for employee and eligible family members.
- Educational Assistance Plan, including out-of-Kingdom assistance and in-Kingdom assistance.
- Settling in Allowance, including a one-time payment for family status and single/bachelor status.
