Join Eticas as a Project Consultant

We are a pioneering company in the sector, working to protect people in technology processes and promote responsible technology. As a Project Consultant, you will play a key role in our socio-technical research projects and proposals, combining social science, statistics, data protection, algorithmic auditing, security, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement qualitative and quantitative methodologies for unique projects, including legal and policy impact assessments, ethical and legal frameworks, data management plans, and more.
  • Plan, conduct, and oversee the ethics requirements, data management, and/or legal standards of projects' fieldwork and data collection activities.
  • Communicate efficiently with partners and clients about Eticas' work, facilitating knowledge-sharing and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in project meetings, occasionally travel, and represent Eticas in projects where you are a team member or project lead.
  • Perform analyses on a variety of data, with emphasis on dissemination and innovation.
  • Produce and edit rigorous content to maximize impact.
  • Participate in the development and preparation of project proposals.
  • Present your work to the consortium, as well as other teams within Eticas or outside the organization.
  • Collaborate across the organization, contributing your technical skills and providing feedback to your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, speak, and write fluently in English.
  • Experience in ethical and legal advisor roles and knowledge of European Commission projects, particularly the Horizon Europe program.
  • Experience in research at the PhD level or equivalent years of experience implementing qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software and quantitative research methods applicable to ethics.
  • Capacity to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines and multiple stakeholders while retaining quality.
  • Experience in research and/or consultancy projects involving data protection, AI regulations, and auditing frameworks.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks with internal teams and external partners, managing deadlines and ensuring alignment across different stakeholders.
  • Open and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share ideas and suggestions.
