About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Consultant Trainee to join our Supply Chain team at Werfen. As a Project Consultant Trainee, you will be responsible for driving Corporate Supply Chain projects from inception to closing, applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up project scope, project schedule, costs, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Establish and manage a project methodology incorporating standards, processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs for monitoring project results and provide a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of projects.
  • Ensure project management standards are followed.
  • Support the deployment of continuous improvement projects in Corporate Supply Chain, applying Lean and Six Sigma philosophy.
  • Identify, lead, and propose improvement projects to increase service levels and reduce waste and expenses.
  • Participate in the definition of ERP training tools in collaboration with the IT department.
  • Provide backup support to the Data Management team in areas such as Material Master and Customer Master Management.
  • Coordinate the building of Corporate Supply Chain procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions with other Corporate Supply Chain departments and develop training tools to facilitate learning experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with Werfen's Code of Ethics.

Networking/Key Relationships

This position requires collaboration with various company departments, including Business Units, IT, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Finance, and other Supply Chain team members for the implementation of operational plans.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Relevant Project Management experience.
  • Relevant experience in Operations (Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain).
  • Relevant experience managing Continuous Improvement Projects.

Additional Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Command knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Good knowledge of Operational principles and practices and related business functions.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and use of BI tools.
  • Language: English, Spanish.
