Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor at Ferrovial - Energy Business Unit

Ferrovial is seeking a skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our Energy Business Unit. The selected candidate will be a part of the Legal Department under the supervision of the Head of Legal, Energy Spain.

The role will be stationed in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing renewable energy project contracts, including EPC, O&M, Asset Management, PPAs, lease agreements, and supply & service agreements.
  • Negotiating, mediating, and resolving conflicts among contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Handling litigation and claims associated with energy project contracts.
  • Collaborating with the legal team to provide guidance on M&A transactions.
  • Providing legal counsel to ensure adherence to legal regulations and internal policies.
  • Managing relationships with external legal advisors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law. Admission to practice in Spain is mandatory.
  • Over 8 years of experience in the legal department of a global energy company. Previous experience in a prestigious law firm is advantageous.
  • International experience in multiple legal jurisdictions, including knowledge of US law, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in business English. Knowledge of other languages is also beneficial.

  • Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, decision-making, project management, and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in computer tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
