Renewable Energy Attorney

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Madrid office as Counsel with a focus on commercial and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities- Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret commercial contracts with a wide variety of counterparties.
- Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain related internal policies and procedures.
- Manage and oversee outside counsel in multiple jurisdictions and areas of subject matter expertise.
- Foster an internal corporate culture of ethical conduct, sound legal and business practices, and prudent strategic behavior consistent with the Company's business objectives.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience as in-house counsel at a multinational company or with a leading law firm.
- Strong commercial and compliance experience and renewable energy fluency.
- Experience with SaaS and venture-backed startups is a strong plus.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice and guidance independently in a fast-moving environment at all levels of the Company.
- A willingness and desire to learn LevelTen's business at a granular level for the purpose of assessing risk and providing strategic advice.
- Strong teaming and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English (the working language of the Company and Madrid office) is required.
- Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred as well.
- Admission to practice law in Spain is required.
