About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, working at the intersection of high-performance domain-specific architectures and artificial intelligence. This position involves collaborating with experts in computer hardware and AI to integrate AI models for facilitating and improving chip design and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the definition of task-specific applications of AI models for chip-related purposes
  • Lead the data gathering and pre-processing pipelines
  • Conduct the design and training of AI models
  • Implement reliable, reproducible, and automated training and evaluation methodologies
  • Document and disseminate the work done
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in STEM
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:
    • Experience in a research-oriented position (1 year minimum)
    • Experience in writing scientific papers (1 paper minimum)
    • Experience in tensor networks (6 months minimum)
    • Experience in optimization problems (6 months minimum)
  • Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience:
    • Fluent English and Spanish are a must. Catalan is desirable.
