German Fundraising Assistant

Street Child is a dynamic and ambitious international development charity seeking a highly motivated and proactive German-speaking intern to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented individual to assist our Country Manager Germany in fundraising efforts, focusing on trusts, foundations, and major donors in Germany. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a native German level, and professional English skills. Spanish is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundraising research to identify new prospects and build relationships with existing ones.
- Write compelling funding proposals for trusts and foundations, leveraging knowledge of Street Child's projects.
- Assist with small financial tasks, such as budgets and donations receipts.
- Promote local and international events, update the website, manage digital marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Manage the existing volunteer base and help recruit new volunteers.
- Build and manage collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and companies.
- Support planned events and develop new ideas.

Areas of Study:
- Marketing, international relations, human rights, development, economics, or global affairs.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with a professional manner via telephone and email.
- Native German level and professional English skills.
- Spanish is a plus.
