Service Development Manager Valuation Services

As a Service Development Manager for Valuation Services, you will play a key role in driving the development of innovative services that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise in customs valuation, international trade, and regulations will be instrumental in shaping our service offerings and ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of service strategies that align with our business objectives and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Lead the creation of new valuation services and continually refine operational processes to enhance overall business performance.
- Proactively identify market opportunities and assess competitive landscapes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Define business requirements and ensure their successful implementation through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Monitor and optimize service performance against operational KPIs to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
- Drive sales support efforts by providing expert guidance and support to Market Development Managers to strengthen sales strategies and close high-value deals.
- Identify potential synergies across services or business lines and explore opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in service development, product management, or business strategy with a proven track record of leading successful service initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of customs valuation, international trade, and regulations, including WTO agreements and WCO policies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing strategic projects involving internal departments and external service providers.
- Ability to develop use cases and financial models to assess the financial viability of new service initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field, with certifications in project management or strategic leadership an asset.
- Proficiency in English and French, with Spanish an asset.
- Strategic thinking and ability to make informed decisions.
- Influence and drive collaboration across departments and stakeholders.
- Solution-oriented mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills to create and manage detailed service development roadmaps.
