As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end logistical coordination of complex, urgent, and potentially life-saving shipments every day.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with customers and prospects to develop strong relationships and provide exceptional service.
- Plan and execute shipment orders, prepare and submit written quotes to customers, and provide customer-specific reporting.
- Monitor and track ongoing shipments, react to any deviations, and communicate temperature results as soon as possible after delivery.
- Work with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as local laws and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with other World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents, and suppliers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and quick learner.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to represent a positive and professional image.
- Ability to learn fast in new platforms or systems.
- Ability to work independently and self-organized.
- Native or fluent in English and Dutch is required.
- Experience as Customer Service in a business-to-business industry required, experience in logistics or freight forwarding preferred.
- Graduate in fields such as International Trade, Logistics, or similar preferred.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or working with pharmaceutical shipments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
