Business Control Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Control Manager to join our credit rating agency's dynamic team, focusing on reinforcing controls by the first line of business.
As a Business Control Manager, your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, and reinforcement of processes to enhance first line controls within our organization.
Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the effectiveness of our operational procedures and entails a significant amount of coordination and project management.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Process Implementation:
Design, develop, implement, and oversee robust processes and procedures within the first line of business
Control Enhancement:
Collaborate with the first line of business to identify control weaknesses and design solutions to strengthen controls effectively. Monitor company KPIs and outsourcing agreements KPIs.
Documentation:
Create comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and control enhancements, maintaining a clear and organized record of changes and updates
Project Management:
Exhibit strong project management skills to drive initiatives related to control enhancement and process optimization
Coordination of Analyst Rotation:
Oversee the coordination of analyst rotation within the first line of business, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.
Revision of Regulatory Disclosure and Reporting Procedures:
Take the lead in revising all regulatory disclosure and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations
Compliance:
Ensure that all first line activities align with regulatory standards, and monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Ability to present and justify milestones, timelines, and progress of development.
Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills; Strong knowledge on dynamic project and workflow tools, e.g. JIRA, Asana, ARIS.
Certification in project or process management is considered a plus, e.g. IPMA, Prince 2, SCRUM.
