Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans for backend systems, web applications, and APIs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Create and maintain test cases and test data
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in the design and development of automated tests
- Identify and document defects and track them in Azure DevOps
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
- University degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in IT or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in testing backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript
- Experience in automated testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Playwright
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish, any additional language is a plus
