Quality Assurance Engineer

At TecAlliance, we're shaping the future of the automotive spare parts market by digitizing it. Our team of IT and automotive specialists work together to create innovative solutions. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans for backend systems, web applications, and APIs
  • Create and maintain test cases and test data
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in the design and development of automated tests
  • Identify and document defects and track them in Azure DevOps
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Your Profile:
  • University degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in IT or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in testing backend systems, web applications, and APIs
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript
  • Experience in automated testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Playwright
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, any additional language is a plus
