Job Summary
As a Customs Agent at Expeditors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely customs process flow. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in tracking and tracing customs files, as well as ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
Main Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate and timely customs declaration information is transferred into our customs entry system
• Verify customs declaration information and submit it to the customs authority
• Maintain compliance with regulations and ensure accurate client billing
• Collaborate with clients to understand their customs requirements and expectations
Requirements
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in customs
• Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
