Job Opportunity
Are you a highly motivated and experienced researcher looking to take on a challenging role in cloud-edge project management? We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the management and coordination of the CloudSkin EU-HORIZON project, focusing on containerization and orchestration of workloads.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Supervise and mentor PhD students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavors.
  • Collaborate with international research partners, fostering strong relationships and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the team in achieving project goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Sciences or a related field.
  • Proven experience in resource and energy orchestration in cloud systems and datacenters.
  • Strong background in scientific dissemination and publications.
  • Experience in public and/or private research projects.
  • Understanding of high-performance computing and distributed system concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of English.
