Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group Engineering Manager to join our team at SOLEK Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team that provides essential services across the entire company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Oversee the preparation and approval of specifications, technical inputs, and yield calculations to ensure high-quality asset design and construction.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to create and enhance processes and methodologies for both internal and external tasks, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Team Development: Hire and mentor engineers to expand the company's knowledge in relevant disciplines and ensure the transfer of individual knowledge.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely execution of engineering activities, setting priorities and managing resources to achieve key milestones.
  • Stakeholder Cooperation: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency and cooperation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Engineering degree (Civil, Electrical, Electromechanical, etc.) with professional registration in a recognized institution.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the engineering business and solar energy technology.
  • Managerial Experience: Proven managerial experience in planning, budgeting, personnel management, operations and maintenance, monitoring, and health and safety compliance.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts and interpret technical manuals.
  • Business Development: Skills to identify and explore new business opportunities and negotiate client relationships.
  • Language Skills: Professional communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Certifications: IPMA certification is a plus.
