Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to join our team at ELCORA ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PLLC. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the sports betting and online gaming sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Architecture: Collaborate with your team to architect scalable and future-oriented solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Development and Delivery: Lead the development of the solution, actively participating in back-end, front-end, and testing efforts to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Automation and Deployment: Drive the automation of testing and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Product Ownership: Take ownership of our product end-to-end, ensuring smooth operation and support in production environments.
- Talent Development: Recruit, nurture, and mentor team members to foster a strong and capable engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to lead and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage engineers, with a track record of successfully managing engineers in back-end, front-end, and QA specializations.
- Technical Expertise: A deep passion for technology, demonstrated by strong expertise in either back-end or front-end development, ideally proficient in both (C#, SQL Server, and/or React).
- Language Skills: A C1 or higher level of English (non-negotiable).
- Experience with Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience with distributed, high-volume products, handling at least 100 transactions per second or managing 1 million page views per month.
- Bonus Points: Experience with distributed architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Cloud and DevOps: Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and proficiency in modern DevOps practices, specifically with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
- Containerization and Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with containerization tools like AKS and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Flexible Work Arrangements: Hybrid work model with remote work options and office attendance in the heart of Madrid on Mondays and Thursdays.
