Join Illumina's Team as a Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer at Illumina, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our genomic technology. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with customers to install and maintain all hardware, including troubleshooting and complaint resolution. This position serves as an engineering consultant during pre- and post-sales activities, collaborating with the broader commercial team to maximize sales growth, support instrument uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain all hardware, including customer troubleshooting and complaint resolution.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to maximize sales growth, support instrument uptime, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address difficult repair situations, helping to return customer systems to fully functional status in the shortest time possible.
  • Complete service reports and associated documentation on-time following quality standards.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels and control accuracy of service parts.
  • Meet service and support KPI's.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their success utilizing our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license within Spain.
  • Fluent language skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% across the region.
