Job Summary

As a key member of the Metrobank team, the Account Service Associate - Loan and Trade Transactions Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient servicing of all loan and trade transactions for IBS customers. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise between IBS customers and the Bank's Operating units to facilitate smooth loan and trade transactions.
  • Monitor maturities and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment for all loan and trade transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of outstanding loans and trade transactions, including maturities and account details.
  • Assist in the preparation of transaction media needed to recommend approval of proposed credits.
  • Verify the authenticity and completeness of documents submitted by clients.
  • Reconcile billing from telephone companies and monitor outgoing facsimile messages.
  • Facilitate reimbursement claims and expenses, including parking fees and token representations.
  • Ensure timely submission of BIR 2306 and 2307, with zero A/Rs and A/Ps, and no Technical Past Dues.
  • Dispatch outgoing transaction-related letters, documents, and requests, and maintain accurate records of accounts being handled.
Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of loan and trade transactions, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
