Canonical Events Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive events strategy across EMEA and Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a long-term events strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams, partner and alliances teams, product marketing teams, design teams, and other marketing functions to execute events
  • Source and secure best possible deals to maximize visibility and minimize costs
  • Provide full logistical support to all events globally, including occasional travel to major events
  • Manage event budgets and monitor expenses to ensure effective use of resources
  • Create systems to measure and improve event effectiveness over time
Requirements:
  • Experience in B2B events organization, including trade shows, customer events, and webinars
  • Excellent academic results, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
  • Hands-on mindset and passion for experimentation
  • Growth mindset, with enthusiasm for challenges and a 'can do' attitude
  • Objectivity and openness to others' views, with a focus on building a positive team spirit
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
