We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist UK&IE to join our team at Carburos Metálicos. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining employee payroll records, assisting in payroll preparation, and ensuring the smooth flow of information with statutory third parties and members of the HR organization.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Employee Payroll Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date payroll records for all employees, including absences, bonuses, and leaves.
- Assist in Payroll Preparation: Provide relevant data and support to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Process Employee Requests: Respond to employee inquiries and provide relevant information in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and Distribute Payroll-Related Documents: Develop and disseminate payroll-related documents, including reports and presentations.
- Develop Relationships: Foster strong relationships with statutory third parties and members of the HR organization to ensure seamless communication and information exchange.
- Participate in Projects and Tasks: Contribute to various projects and tasks as required, ensuring the successful execution of payroll-related initiatives.
- Resolve Employee Queries: Address employee concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and caring experience for all employees.
- Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance payroll processes and procedures, suggesting improvements and implementing changes as needed.
- Support Payroll Data Processing: Assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll data for all employees.
- Perform Monthly Payroll Controls: Collaborate with the senior payroll specialist to perform monthly payroll controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document Work Practices: Document all work practices and operating guidelines for assigned payrolls, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Remit Payments and Complete Regulatory Forms: Process payment requests and complete required regulatory forms, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Fluent in English: Strong proficiency in English is required, with any additional language skills being a plus.
- International Work Experience: Experience working in an international environment is essential.
- Payroll Experience: Preferably, candidates should have experience in payroll, with HR, accounting, or financial services experience also being considered.
- HR or Payroll Degree: A degree in HR or payroll is a plus.
- Key Skills: Open-mindedness, willingness to learn, flexibility, multitasking ability, cross-functionality, and adaptability are essential.
- Administrative and Communication Skills: Excellent administrative writing and verbal communication skills are required.
- PC Literacy and MS Office Experience: Strong PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications are necessary.
- Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required.
- Teamwork and Customer Focus: Strong teamwork skills and a customer-focused approach are essential.
- Stress Resistance and Deadline Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner is required.
- Desire to Learn Workday: A desire to learn and work with Workday is a plus.
