Job Summary

The Senior Demand Planner will play a crucial role in BVI Medical's supply chain operations by ensuring accurate demand forecasting for our global markets. This position will work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning, to develop and maintain demand plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market analysis to predict customer demand trends.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts in coordination with supply planners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to improve forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate market intelligence into demand plans and drive business decisions.
  • Generate and present regular reports on key performance indicators cross-functionally and to senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, product life cycle management, data management, and overall demand planning efficiency.
  • Utilize planning systems and tools to manage and optimize demand planning processes.
  • Oversee the entire demand planning product life cycle from introduction to phase-out, including planning for new product launches, managing product transitions, and coordinating end-of-life activities.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to address demand variability and supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in forecasting and reporting activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
