The Opportunity

Puig, a leading player in the global fashion and beauty industry, is seeking a skilled professional to lead and develop the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a cosmetic brand. The ideal candidate will ensure that the total forecast for all products is available on time with sufficient accuracy to guarantee service levels, optimized inventory levels, and optimal costs.

The successful candidate will consolidate and challenge the forecast from all markets, detecting risks and opportunities versus the budget, and ensuring consistency between the demand plan and business figures. Additionally, they will provide inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process for a new cosmetic brand, coordinating launches and promotional items global forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain regular goods sales forecasts, detecting main deviations in sales forecast versus budget and highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  • Lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning, offering data on service level, forecast accuracy, sales forecast versus budget, and stock management data.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Demand Planner or a minimum of 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or a similar field, with a Master's in Supply Chain being a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High analytical profile, drive for results, holistic vision, team management, and communication skills.
  • High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software, as well as experience with SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools.
