The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in facilities, building operations, and real estate project management with a focus on high-tech startup facilities management.



This strategic role at Scopely is at the heart of ensuring seamless, efficient, and aligned workplace and facilities operations across EMEA & APAC regions.



Responsibilities:


  • Oversight of daily operations including hybrid work model, building space allocation, usage analytics, forecasting, layout, and decor to optimize workspace for productivity and inspiration.
  • Prompt response to facilities requests, issues, and complaints, optimizing ticketing systems for issue resolution and implementing programs to address emerging issues.
  • Selecting, managing, and developing relationships with contractors and vendors for essential services such as lunch catering, snacks, and beverage machines, aiming for an exceptional people experience.
  • Managing parking and commuter programs for optimal utilization and adherence, alongside policies such as pet-friendly workplace initiatives.
  • Oversight of day porters and cleaning crews to maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained workplace, developing quality standards programs.
  • Liaison between building management and Scopely, ensuring timely completion of building maintenance and repairs.
  • Managing building access, surveillance, alarms, and security personnel for safety and security of the workplace.
  • Implementing physical security standards, policies, procedures, and training to protect Scopely's people, assets, and reputation, adhering to required codes and regulations.
  • Creating purchase orders, forecasting costs, and tracking expenses against site-specific operating budget, developing recommendations and implementation plans for cost efficiency and quality in workspace management.
  • Project managing cross-functionally with IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams for a cohesive approach to workplace and facilities management.
  • Leading, hiring, and developing a high-performing team of Facilities Specialists and Coordinators across EMEA & APAC regions, maximizing team potential through strategic hiring, training, and development.


Requirements:


  • 8-10+ years of experience in operations leadership role, preferably in facilities, building operations, and real estate project management with emphasis on high tech startup facilities management.
  • Experience with global, private company with 1,000+ employees or larger preferred.
  • Proven success with project execution, budget and cost savings, and other implementations.
  • Experienced people manager of three or more team members.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and partner with department heads, managers, and staff across the organisation.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work confidentially and instill confidence in those you are working with.
  • Flexible, self-motivated; able to deal calmly and professionally with ambiguous data while leading in an environment of constant change.
  • Demonstrated success in managing operations across diverse geographic regions, particularly in EMEA & APAC.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across various cultures and business practices.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, with capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in workplace and facilities management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English, with additional language skills relevant to EMEA & APAC regions considered a plus.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with willingness to work outside standard hours as needed to support global operations.


$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (based on location)
