Facilities and Service Operations Manager

The Facilities and Service Operations Manager will oversee the smooth functioning of all facilities and services. Reporting to the Facilities and Services Manager, they will be responsible for managing resources, services, and processes to meet company needs. Key Responsibilities Include:
• Leadership of facilities services (soft services area)
• Coordinate and supervise site services, tasks, and technical processes of soft services of facilities
• Define, lead, and supervise all services: cleaning, canteen, vending, reception, pest control, and other site services of facilities (offices, technical services centers, and warehouses)
• Provide solutions to daily technical incidents in the soft services area
• Identify improvements in facilities
• Manage and execute projects under internally defined objectives
• Lead and defend soft services audits
• Prepare necessary documentation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Redefine and update procedures
• Search for possible suppliers in the market with the objective of optimizing costs
• Approval of suppliers for both services and projects
• Make services contracts with suppliers
• Define KPIs with suppliers for correct operation of facilities
• Supervise annual compliance (supplier evaluation) of conditions of services contracts as agreed
• Supervise technical documentation of services in all Iberia centers
• Ensure correct operation of company's CMMS system or similar
Networking/Key relationships To be determined based on department needs.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
Education: Postgraduate in Facility Management
Experience: Experience working with internal and external vendors and services contracting. At least 5 years' experience in building services required. Experience with security and maintenance of large facilities.
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and project plans with short- and long-term end dates.
Knowledge of and ability to manage workflow of facility services projects, from identification, to prioritization, through execution, and evaluation.
At least basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) including ability to manipulate data and build presentations.
Language: Specific to country and role's needs. Intermediate English will be necessary.
