We are seeking a skilled Invoice Resolution Expert to join our team at Geotab. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Madrid, Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding payment issues and customer invoices. The role involves reviewing and processing credit memos, reconciling receivable balances, and maintaining accounting ledgers as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming files concerning billing and invoicing.
- Post payments to invoices.
- Produce monthly billing on time and accurately; responsible to ensure that past due invoices are collected and accounts are clear.
- Maintain accounting ledgers as required.
- Handle the processing of returned or rejected orders.
- Prepare RMA shipment paperwork and credits accordingly.
- Receive AR payments and entering receipts for all customer accounts.
- Monitor customer portals to ensure invoices and purchase orders are accepted in a timely manner.
- Ensure monthly billing file prepared by the carrier is reconciled to Geotab's internal billing system.
- Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information, such as billing addresses and invoice numbers.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities.
- Track checks request, reimbursable expenses, and unbilled expenses.
- Customer liaison for invoicing, billing, activations, terminations, support tickets, and order inquiries for assigned accounts.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree.
- Diploma/Degree specialization in Accounting, Finance, Administration or a related field.
- RMA experience an asset.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a must have.
- Knowledge of Dynamics AX ERP systems an asset.
- General understanding of computerized accounting systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including but not limited to; Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
