Overview:

Vodafone Group is embarking on an exciting journey by establishing a new technological HUB, which will serve as an international center of excellence focused on the research and development of innovative technical solutions. This includes advancements in Secure Networks, 5G and 6G technologies, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business.

Role Summary:

The Team Lead for the Core Security Operations Centre (SOC) at Vodafone Business is tasked with the critical role of architecting, developing, and managing the essential SOC services. This position emphasizes operational excellence and requires the establishment and oversight of both the technical and human resources necessary to deliver advanced SOC security services that exceed client expectations. The ethos of the Core VB Central SOC team lead is defined by efficiency, innovation, and state-of-the-art security guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment and execution of core SOC services in collaboration with L1/L2 Central SOC teams and other national SOCs, as well as Vodafone Business and Technology divisions.
  • Define the necessary human and technical resources to implement L3/Tier 3 support services and engineering assistance for core service operations.
  • Support the suite of cybersecurity services and both preventive and reactive functions, including advanced threat intelligence, vulnerability management, complex incident response, forensic analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Manage the product and customer lifecycle of cybersecurity services, ensuring customer satisfaction targets are met or exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity service concepts and procedures, with practical experience in managing and responding to cyber threats and incidents.
  • Proven experience in leading cybersecurity projects and teams.
  • Experience in establishing new technologies and infrastructures to support a diverse service portfolio.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships, engage, and motivate team members.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering services to end customers, with accountability for the overall customer service experience.
