Role Overview
Vodafone Group is establishing a new technological HUB, an international center of excellence focused on research and development in advanced technical solutions, including Secure Networks, 5G and 6G advancements, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business.
We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead a global team of experts in developing a premier portfolio of cybersecurity products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic direction of our cybersecurity offerings, ensuring significant business impact.
- Oversee a global team of cybersecurity engineers and architects in the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions.
- Define the technological vision, roadmap, and strategy for products, aligning with product management and business objectives.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and teamwork, promoting idea exchange and rapid prototyping.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to ensure successful product launches.
- Stay informed about the evolving threat landscape and emerging cybersecurity technologies, translating insights into actionable product features.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners in the cybersecurity ecosystem.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on product progress and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are ready to elevate their expertise in the fast-paced telecommunications sector. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related discipline.
- A proven history of leading and mentoring high-performing technical teams in a global context.
- Demonstrated experience throughout the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- A strong grasp of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity software landscape.
- The ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
