Role Overview
Vodafone Group is establishing a new technological HUB, an international center of excellence aimed at advancing research and development in technical solutions such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business.
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead a global team of experts in developing a premier portfolio of cybersecurity products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the future of our cybersecurity offerings, driving substantial business impact.
- Oversee a global team of cybersecurity engineers and architects in the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions.
- Define the technology vision, roadmap, and strategy for products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and teamwork, promoting idea exchange and rapid prototyping.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to ensure successful product launches.
- Stay informed about the evolving threat landscape and emerging cybersecurity technologies, translating insights into actionable product features.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors and partners within the cybersecurity ecosystem.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on product progress and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are ready to elevate their expertise in the fast-paced telecommunications sector. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related discipline.
- A proven history of leading and mentoring high-performing technical teams in a global context.
- Demonstrated experience throughout the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- A strong grasp of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity software landscape.
- The ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
