As a Strategic Market Access Professional, you'll play a crucial role in driving market access projects that improve patient outcomes and streamline decision-making in hospital environments.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Business Units on strategic market access initiatives. Your primary focus will be on creating new therapeutic / device charge codes, obtaining pricing approval, and securing reimbursement approval for innovative solutions. You'll also provide direction and guidance to external project teams, participate in internal product launch teams, and develop local market access opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with Business Units on market access projects, ensuring successful completion of all deliverables
  • Proactively create new therapeutic / device charge codes, obtain pricing approval, and secure reimbursement approval
  • Provide expert guidance to external project teams on tactical market access initiatives
  • Participate in internal product launch teams to drive market access strategies
  • Develop and plan market access projects and activities, focusing on successful delivery and outcome
  • Engage with industry groups to maintain dialogue with provincial government officials and influence policy formulation and implementation
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY OPINION LEADERS (KOLs) AND HEALTHCARE AUTHORITIES
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and evaluate market access opportunities
  • IDENIFY AND EVALUATE MARKET ACCESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND DEVELOP COURSE CORRECTION INITIATIVES WHEN NEEDED

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or Master's Degree or equivalent, with 4-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in government relations, sales, tendering, pricing, reimbursement functions, or regulatory affairs in multinational pharmaceutical or medical device companies
  • Pricing & reimbursement experience is highly preferred
  • Medical education and health economic training background is preferred
