About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Meta, responsible for developing and managing retail channel partners for Meta hardware products in Spain and Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the General Manager, Region, to drive sales business for Meta hardware products in Spain and Italy.
  • Drive and manage retail partners, implementing effective strategies and programs to meet organizational goals.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Create and present account strategies to executives and internal/external stakeholders to align resources and achieve mutual goals.
  • Negotiate and present account programs/contracts, gaining internal alignment and approvals with cross-functional partners (finance, legal, operations, etc).
  • Grow relationships with cross-functional leaders (Channel Operations, Sales Enablement, Sales Analytics, Category) to drive account goals, execute Joint Business Planning (JBP) process, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and launch planning activities to meet sales objectives within agreed-upon budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage account scorecard, allocate budget, identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in senior sales roles with a clear record of quota achievement and success in technology-based consumer sales.
  • Previous experience and clear understanding of the European retail landscape with a focus on Spain and Italy.
  • Bachelor's degree in business.
  • Fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to work effectively with various teams across the organization, essential to be inclusive and collaborative.
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels.
  • Existing relationships with key retailers in the region (Spain/Italy).
  • Track record of excellence in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales.
  • Passionate advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies.
  • Experience in working with key retailers in the region like Media Markt, Saturn.
