Job Role: HR Business Partner for Amazon Logistics Operations

At Amazon, we are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an HR Business Partner for Amazon Logistics Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations teams in Andalucia, Spain. Your primary responsibility will be to provide pragmatic, commercial, and employee-focused advice and support to our operations and area managers, as well as several support functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Selection: You will support our hiring managers and the talent acquisition team to ensure that vacancies are filled in a timely manner with high-caliber candidates. You will also work with our operations team to ensure a robust succession plan is in place and that we are developing our leaders for the next challenge.
  2. Employee Relations & Engagement: You will help develop and deliver engagement and communication plans to drive employee engagement. You will also provide support to line managers in employee relations and employment law, ensuring that our employment policies are implemented fairly and consistently.
  3. Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession Planning: You will organize the annual leadership review process and provide assistance and coaching to line managers on performance development. You will work with our learning and development team to ensure that appropriate learning interventions are in place to support our succession plan and develop the next generation of leaders.
  4. Generalist HR: You will utilize your generalist HR skills and leadership ability to provide an exceptional service to our internal customers. You will analyze metrics to get to the root cause of any issues and identify best practices to drive continuous improvement in our HR processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
  • Significant HR experience at Head of HR level, ideally within a multi-site, high-volume, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment.
  • Possess problem-solving and analytical capability, with experience of managing ambiguity and analyzing HR metrics.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels, including hourly paid and shop floor employees.
  • Proven hands-on attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate the ability to motivate and influence others, with strong change management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, with the ability to bring valuable insight into the team or business.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of working time, with a strong drive, problem-solving bias, and result-oriented approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels in a matrix organization.
