About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Asset Management Specialist to join our team at IZERTIS S.A. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy tailored to the specific needs of Mercedes-Benz, aligning with corporate objectives and IT service management best practices.
  2. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of different platforms like IT-Shop and ServiceNow to effectively manage digital workplace assets, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
  3. Lead the migration process from IT-Shop to ServiceNow, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations, while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
  4. Apply ITIL principles and IT service management (ITSM) best practices to enhance asset management processes, improve service delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Leverage your expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) to integrate M365 applications and services into asset management workflows, maximizing efficiency and collaboration.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the MBGSM and MB AG companies and the broader organization to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the migration and ongoing operations.
  7. Develop training materials and provide hands-on guidance to end-users on utilizing ServiceNow and other digital tools for asset management purposes, ensuring smooth adoption and proficiency.
  8. Continuously assess asset management processes, gather feedback, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT asset management, specializing in the implementation and utilization of ServiceNow for comprehensive asset lifecycle management.
  3. Proficient in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules related to Asset Management, Procurement, and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) are desirable.
  4. Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks and proven experience applying ITIL principles to enhance IT service management processes.
  5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (M365) applications and services, with a focus on integrating M365 functionalities into asset management workflows for improved productivity.
  6. Successfully led and executed end-to-end migrations from various platforms to ServiceNow, ensuring minimal business disruption and achieving seamless data migration.
  7. Experience in IT-Shop is desirable.
  8. Proven track record in implementing and optimizing IT asset management strategies, resulting in increased operational efficiency and compliance adherence.
  9. Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough assessments of existing asset management processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance overall effectiveness.
  10. Ensured successful integration of digital workplace asset management initiatives within the organization.
  11. Implemented training programs for end-users on ServiceNow and other digital tools, contributing to high levels of adoption and proficiency across the organization.
  12. Applied strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in asset management, resulting in streamlined processes and cost savings.
  13. English: Reading, writing and fluent conversation.
  14. Desirable German and/or Spanish (not mandatory): reading, writing and conversation.
