Job Description
As a Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager, you will collaborate with the implementation of the growth strategy of the energy business. Your mission will be to coordinate and execute M&A operations as a project manager in different geographies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating operations for the acquisition of energy projects
  • Coordination and management of the execution of transactions in case of being awarded
  • Negotiation of the purchase contract together with the legal department
  • Serving as a point of contact for Ferrovial's financing department, supporting and coordinating the Due Diligence phase
  • Following-up and supervision of compliance with the conditions of the contract until its closing
  • Facilitating the flow of information between the finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical departments teams during the transaction process

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with subsequent training in finance)
  • A high knowledge of project finance
  • A Master's Degree in Finance or an MBA from a prestigious business school or CFA is a plus
  • Experience in M&A transactions in the infrastructure sector with complex financing structures is essential
  • A very high level of English is essential
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
