Front Office Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team at Portals Hills Boutique Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Greet guests warmly, perform registration procedures, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
- Front Desk Operations: Perform preparatory tasks, including room assignments, rack checks, and processing VIP procedures as instructed by the Front Office Manager.
- Guest Service and Support: Provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests, handle guest and colleague requests, and attend to guest complaints in a professional manner.
- Room Assignments and Key Distribution: Assign rooms, distribute keys, and provide guests with directions to their rooms while up-selling when appropriate.
- Revenue Management and Cash Handling: Check shift revenues, count cash at the end of the shift, and promptly report deviations to the department head.
- Hotel Knowledge and Promotion: Keep informed about hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest, and promote and sell the hotel's promotional activities, including loyalty programs.
- Education: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish, English, and German.
- Technical Skills: Opera Cloud experience required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written language skills, experience with several hotel operation systems, and excellent organization and communication skills.
