About the Role

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Banking Analyst to join its team in Madrid. As a key member of the Sustainable Banking team, you will be responsible for identifying and generating business opportunities, defining tailor-made solutions, and executing sustainable finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set quality relationships with Business Lines and clients' Senior Bankers to identify and generate business opportunities
  • Define and pitch Crédit Agricole CIB's sustainable finance product offering and follow-up and monitor commercialization
  • Structure and execute mandates originated, in partnership with concerned Business Lines
  • Set close relationships with market stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors
  • Maintain an excellent level of expertise and knowledge on the sustainable finance market to maintain Crédit Agricole CIB as a major actor
  • Set efficient and trustworthy working relationships with Business Lines and Sustainable Banking team members
  • Handle tasks necessary for the proper processing and development of Sustainable Banking activity in Iberia
  • Prepare discussion materials with clients, including commercial presentations, benchmarks, and analysis of projects eligible for Green, Social, or Sustainability Loans/Bonds
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or the structuring of sustainable finance mandates, including drafting Green/Sustainability Financing Frameworks and monitoring Second Party Opinions
  • Participate in the analysis of main developments, including methodologies of ESG Agencies, climate scenarios, and market trends
Requirements
  • Be less than 28 years old
  • Be graduated with a Master's Degree
  • Be an EU citizen (except Spanish)
  • Have a strong interest in Sustainable Finance and/or environment & climate topics
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Be fluent in French and English, and have a fluent or intermediate level in Spanish
  • Have ability to communicate, analyze, and summarize, with rigor and sense of organization
