Sustainable Banking Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Sustainable Banking team in Madrid. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for originating and executing sustainable finance transactions, working closely with our Iberia Sustainable Banking Originator.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with business lines and clients to identify and generate business opportunities.
  • Develop and pitch sustainable finance product offerings to clients, ensuring effective commercialization and follow-up.
  • Structure and execute mandates originated, in partnership with concerned business lines.
  • Maintain close relationships with market stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the sustainable finance market, ensuring Crédit Agricole CIB remains a leading actor.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainable Banking team to achieve business objectives.
Key Skills
  • Strong interest in sustainable finance and environmental topics.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluency in French and English, with intermediate level in Spanish.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Rigor and sense of organization.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, banking, or finance.
  • First experience in sustainable banking or corporate and investment banking.
