About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Sustainable Banking team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and generating business opportunities, defining tailor-made solutions, and executing sustainable finance mandates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set quality relationships with Business Lines and clients' Senior Bankers to identify and generate business opportunities
  • Define and pitch Crédit Agricole CIB's sustainable finance product offering and follow-up on commercialization
  • Structure and execute mandates originated, in partnership with Business Lines
  • Set close relationships with market stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, investors, and other banking actors
  • Maintain an excellent level of expertise and knowledge on the sustainable finance market
  • Set efficient and trustworthy working relationships with Business Lines and the Sustainable Banking team
  • Prepare discussion materials with clients, including commercial presentations, benchmarks, and analysis of projects eligible for Green, Social, or Sustainability Loans/Bonds
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or the structuring of sustainable finance mandates, including drafting Green/Sustainability Financing Frameworks and monitoring the development of Second Party Opinions
  • Participate in the analysis of main developments, including methodologies of ESG Agencies, climate scenarios, and market trends
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree from a Business School or University with a specialization in Sustainability, Banking, or Finance
  • First experience in Sustainable Banking or in a Corporate and Investment bank
  • Strong interest in Sustainable Finance and/or environment & climate topics
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent French and English, with fluent or intermediate level in Spanish
