About the Role

This internship opportunity is with ABB, a leading technology company in electrification and automation, and a member of Mygwork, the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
  • Perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain new sales opportunities and resolve specific customer problems; and ensure achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Ensure the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing and Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced studies are an advantage.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), advanced user of MS Excel, and good knowledge of Microsoft Office in general. User-level knowledge of AI is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficient written and spoken communication skills in English. C2 strongly preferred. Fluency in another language would be an asset.
