Country Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Country Controller to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting strategies to ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and own control reporting activities for all country requirements
- Own the actuals reporting, financial statement analysis, and reporting for country activities
- Support Business Unit Controllership Leaders with key initiatives and BU focus items
- Owning the full control environment for SOX reportable entities
- Ability to communicate and influence key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads, and external parties
- Overseeing, identifying, communicating, and resolving financial and internal control matters
- Providing key support to Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and external service providers
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role, demonstrating a robust understanding of financial management, reporting, and compliance
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Polish or Spanish is advantageous and considered a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and support within the department and across the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to management, shared service center, and other employees
- Ability to work in a hybrid working model
