Summary:

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Works as a member of a team responsible for day-to-day activities of customer accounts to ensure that product deliveries are on time and that projects/programs are on schedule.
  2. Develops action plans to correct out of plan conditions.
  3. Manages customer account profitability; forecasting, planning and monitoring efficiency and execution of strategies.
  4. Participates in pricing/bid preparation and the development and management of contract terms.
  5. Manages and monitors customer satisfaction day to day and formally (customer surveys, self-assessments, complaint management, problem resolution, satisfaction management).
  6. Communicates frequently with customers to help ensure satisfaction with the company and the products.
  7. Coordinates and hosts regular/as needed program tracking meetings with the customer and internal account team members to ensure ongoing communication and up-to-date progress/status reporting occurs.
  8. Receives and resolves customer issues and complaints.
  9. Monitors the impact on inventory of order changes.
  10. Provides performance reporting and analysis for monthly Operations Reviews and quarterly Customer Performance Reviews.
  11. Works with cost engineering, finance and SCM staff to coordinate efforts to analyze costs and price variances.
  12. Creates and coordinates New Product Introduction schedule and project plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer account strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer account management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience working in the electronics manufacturing services industry.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
