Job Title: Sourcing Analyst

At Nextracker, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and being at the forefront of decarbonation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Analyst to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

About the Role

The Sourcing Analyst will play a critical role in centralizing initiatives and opportunities for the steel sourcing team to reduce Nextracker's carbon footprint. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovation, integrity, and customer focus, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build models to assess Nextracker's carbon footprint and develop a carbon reduction roadmap
  • Partner with commodity managers to investigate steel mill sustainability plans
  • Investigate and develop strategies to reduce Nextracker's carbon footprint
  • Partner with our sustainability team to develop Nextracker's sustainability strategy
  • Develop expertise in steel sector carbon reduction
Requirements
  • Solid structuring and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Advanced communication skills in an international and multicultural environment
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English
  • Results orientation and ability to think out of the box
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexibly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business major; graduate degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain/sustainability or senior analyst position
  • Previous experience in the steel sector preferred
  • Experience working in an international environment
