About the Role

Ebury, a leading FinTech firm, is seeking a highly skilled M&A Senior Analyst to join its Strategy team in Madrid. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction across various markets and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of Ebury's strategic plan, identifying areas for growth and opportunities for expansion.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, summarizing key insights and learnings to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential investments and advise on M&A activities.
  • Contribute to the M&A lifecycle, from sourcing to valuation and due diligence, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor strategic initiatives through key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting, with a focus on M&A and financial analysis.
  • Proven expertise in valuation of acquisitions according to IFRS3.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to convey complex information simply.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, valuation, and industry trends, with a keen interest in Fintech and Emerging Markets.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
