About the Role

The Enterprise Project Manager will play a critical role in driving project success at Canonical, a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the global move to open source. As the company that publishes Ubuntu, one of the most important open source projects and the platform for AI, IoT, and the cloud, we are changing the world on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure project success through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management.
  • Lead cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
Requirements
  • Strong IT project management experience in a software engineering and/or information technology field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
  • Agile expertise and Project Management certification.
  • Experience leading diverse, remote project teams and managing risks.
  • Ability to travel 6-8 weeks a year, up to two weeks at a time, sometimes internationally.
