Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead our efforts in responsible AI and safety partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external entities, including researchers, press, and industry partners, to gain insights and foster new safety-related research.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the use of 3rd party data sets like fact checks to improve the safety of our products.
- Influence and engage with cross-functional internal partners, external partners, including senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to gather input and garner support for vision, strategy, and roadmap for moderation and safety.
- Work across multiple disciplines to define and influence the long-term vision and strategy for feature areas based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft's business goals and strategy.
- Influence the overall policy and strategy for responsible AI and safety at Microsoft.
- Own and partner with others to drive business impact across the organization through shared OKR's and KPI's on product safety.
- Identify data-informed, short-term, and long-term investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments in consultation with cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
