Jumeirah Mallorca is a luxurious hotel located on a cliff overlooking the fishing town of Port Soller. The hotel offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO Heritage site. With 121 spacious guestrooms and suites, three restaurants, three bars, two swimming pools, and a Talise Spa, Jumeirah Mallorca provides an exceptional and natural environment for its guests.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our Housekeeping Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all Housekeeping activities, ensuring that the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and supervise all Housekeeping activities
- Ensure team is trained, motivated, and focused
- Set the standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all operations
- Maintain the Hotel policies and procedures as agreed by the Management in accordance with The Hotel's business plan
- Liaise with Front Office on forecasting VIP arrivals and ensure the smooth flow of communication between the Departments
- Conduct periodic inspections throughout the hotel to assess the cleaning standards
- Prepare departmental and assist in preparation of divisional budgets, ensuring that the departmental operational budget is adhered to business plan
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years' work experience in Housekeeping in an International Hotel Company, with a minimum of 1 year's management experience in a high-volume Housekeeping role. The candidate should have excellent organizational and team management skills, excellent computer skills, and knowledge of OPERA and other hotel systems. Interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict are essential.
