Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve Food and Beverages
  • Serve food courses and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are presented in a visually appealing way.
Set Tables
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
  • Ensure that all tables are set with the necessary linens, glasses, and silverware.
Provide Excellent Service
  • Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
Process Payments
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Requirements

Meet Physical Demands

  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
