We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Renewable Energy Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team at LevelTen Energy. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving demand for our platform and services, and contributing to the acceleration of the energy transition.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of progressively responsible marketing, sales, business development, or customer success experience, and a strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability. They will be comfortable with cold calling, have excellent writing and listening skills, and be highly organized with extreme attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate the value of LevelTen's services to drive demand and strong participation in our platform through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and social communications.
  2. Research prospective accounts and contacts to identify and qualify new leads.
  3. Identify and create new qualified opportunities from inbound leads.
  4. Run targeted outbound and email nurture campaigns.
  5. Engage with customers via telephone and email to analyze their needs.
  6. Track and report performance metrics to monitor effectiveness and drive data-driven improvements.
  7. Contribute to refining sales processes and strategies based on interactions with prospects/clients.
  8. Work closely with the marketing team to align on any campaign strategies.
  9. Schedule consultation calls for Account Managers.
  10. Generate opportunities to support annual revenue targets.
  11. Credential, onboard, and train new users to our platform.
  12. Maintain active communication with leads by sending targeted materials.
  13. Create and maintain CRM account, contact, and opportunity information.
  14. Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of progressively responsible marketing, sales, business development, or customer success experience.
  • Must have a positive and outgoing attitude, ability to quickly develop rapport and maintain strong relationships, self-motivated, persistent, able to work independently, and demonstrate an ability to deal with rejection.
  • Comfortable with cold calling.
  • Excellent writing and listening skills, highly organized, with extreme attention to detail.
  • Able to strongly articulate a product's value proposition/selling points and explain complex issues simply and clearly via phone and email.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience with CRM software, familiarity with Salesforce a plus.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, project development, or energy markets is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience with M&A transactions a plus.
  • Prior experience in the renewable energy industry a plus.
  • Professional fluency in English (other European languages are a plus).
