We are seeking a highly skilled bioinformatician to join our 'Evolutionary Processes Modeling' group at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop computational pipelines and analyze tumor sequencing data to understand the evolution and survival of cancer cell populations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, mathematics, or a related field, and experience with programming languages such as Python. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze tumor sequencing data to identify patterns and trends
- Develop and implement computational pipelines to process and analyze large datasets
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement experiments
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
- Master's degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
