Research Trainee in the 'Evolutionary Processes Modeling' Group

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Trainee to join our interdisciplinary team at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, Spain.
The successful candidate will be part of the 'Evolutionary Processes Modeling' group, which focuses on understanding the evolution and survival of cancer cell populations through computational analysis of sequencing data and population genetics predictions.
As a Research Trainee, you will analyze tumor sequencing data, develop computational pipelines, and test biological hypotheses to advance our understanding of mutational processes and selective pressures in cancer tumors.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related field, and experience with computer programming, bioinformatics methods, and working on a cluster.
Fluency in English is required, and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.
