Bioinformatician in the Group 'Evolutionary Processes Modeling'

We are seeking a highly skilled bioinformatician to join our 'Evolutionary Processes Modeling' group at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing tumor sequencing data, developing computational pipelines, and testing biological hypotheses.
The CRG is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with over 400 scientists from 44 countries. Our group is particularly interested in understanding how cancer evolves and survives through mutation influx and selection inference from observed mutation data.
To achieve this, we develop mathematical and computational approaches to estimate mutation rates and selection. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer programming, bioinformatics methods for sequencing data analysis, and a master's degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related discipline.
